I have no idea why, but I thought I would check out my LJ page yesterday and see when the last time was I did a film review and I couldn't believe it when I saw that it was January!! Wow, this year has just completely flown by!!! So, I know I have been reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally slow at updating this and I have seen quite a few films since January, which I will not be doing catch up reviews on as I can't remember most of them lol, but I have decided I am now going to update this page more often from now on....well, I'm going to try at least anyway :)

Life has been a bit hectic this year! I now have to fly to Scotland every month for work as that's where our Head Office is now and I have to go there for sales meetings. I've gotten used to the flying now and the hassle of the airport. Still not really used to the guys I work with up there, but it's like 3 days a month I have to spend with them, sometimes not even that, so I put up with it lol. Plus, I do get to stay in a nice hotel when I'm there which does really good food. I have also eaten in some nice restaurants there as well. So, I guess overall, not all bad!!

I have been on one holiday so far this year. I went to the Edinburgh (because I don't go to Scotland enough lol) Fringe Festival in August with my friends. It was basically a long weekend there. I have to admit, I wasn't a huge fan of the Fringe, it was a bit too arty and dramatic for me! But I did really enjoy the tourist side of things. I didn't realise how gothic Edinburgh was! It was such a dark and beautiful City and the Castle and Palace were really interesting to look around as well. Actually here are some pictures.....

The day we did the sightseeing it was such a beautiful sunny day, it was so lovely walking around the City, Castle and Palace. It was a really lovely day and probably my favourite day there! The day after that though was horrendous weather. It rained the WHOLE day! And we went to the zoo that day and not a lot of the animals wanted to come out, but I couldn't blame them lol. We couldn't see the Pandas either, which I really wanted to see :( However, the weather didn't put off the penguins and seeing as they are my favourite animals I was really happy to see them! I took sooooooooooooo many pictures of them, but I won't bore you with all of them....

But that's enough about my holiday to Edinburgh! The next holiday for me is a 4 day break in Prague with my Mum! I have already been to Prauge, but that was a few years ago now and my Mum has never been, so it will be really good to see it with her! I'm really looking forward to going because I remember it being such a beautiful city and we'll be going in November, so the cold weather is going to match the dark gothic feel of the place. I'm hoping to drink a lot of hot chocolate while I walk around the city hehe. I'm going to do what I did when I went to New York and keep a holiday journal so when I come back I can let you know about everything we got up to out there! I mean it probably won't be as exciting as my New York adventure, but I don't think any holiday could compare to that!! It still is and always will be my favourite place on earth! I still really miss it and I want to go back soooooooooooooo badly!! I am determined to go there in 2016, the year of my 30th. It will be a birthday present to myself :)

Other exciting holiday news though, is that me and my two best friends have booked to go to Disney World Florida October 2015!!! We are very excited about this!! We said 10 years ago that when we turn 30 we should go to Disney and it's actually happening!!! It's all booked, just gotta save up the money to pay it off now LOL. But it's okay, we have a year to go ;)

Right, I have been going on a lot, I should probably shut up and get to work!!! I will post a film review tonight for The Guest which is the movie I saw last night. And I promise, I will try to keep up with the updates and the film reviews and if I'm really organised, I might try and do book reviews too....but we'll see lol.

My Film Review: American Hustle

[This may contain spoilers...]

So, the second film I saw on my Double Feature Day was American Hustle. Another very good film....once it got going....

The film did start of quite slow, for me. It started off telling you how Amy Adam's and Christan Bale's characters met and got together and I just found it a bit blah. It was like, let's just get into the story. I know we need to know some back story, but it was just weird how they started it off. I think the film really picked up when Jennifer Lawrence appeared. I think she was a bit of light relief in this film. She bought the comedy, so did Bradley Cooper. The other two were just so serious all the time.

The film's plot is: The film tells the story of brilliant con man Irving Rosenfeld, who along with his equally cunning and seductive British partner Sydney Prosser is forced to work for a wild FBI agent Richie DiMaso

And it's a very good story, apart from the slow beginning, it was very good. I do like a good hustle anyway and Irving and Sydney were very good at what they were doing. They fooled me a couple of times as well! I kept thinking, are they being serious, or are they conning DiMaso...

I think Jennifer Lawrence as Rosalyn, Irving's wife, was brilliant. I love any character that Jennifer Lawrence plays anyway, because I think she's great, but she was the best bit of this film. Her characters logic was so messed up,but sometimes you actually thought she had a good point lol.

I give this film 7.5 stars out of 10. It is well worth the watch!

My Film Review: The Wolf Of Wall Street

[This may contain spoilers.....]
So, Saturday I had a Double Feature Day with the BFF and the first film we saw was, The Wolf of Wall Street. First thoughts? It was fantastic! It's based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, from his rise to a wealthy stockbroker living the high life to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government. Plus there's a lot of swearing, drugs and sex in it!!

This film was an 18 and it had to be, to tell the story of how this guy lived his life. You could not have told this story without showing the explicitness of the drugs and sex that he took part in in his career as a stockbroker. It was extreme and disgusting the amount of money he spent and basically threw away. In fact the way he lived was just disgraceful, I could not imagine ever wanting to live that way, let alone actually doing it.

How Martin Scorsese portrayed this lifestyle that Jordan lived was very clever. It shocked the audience but it was also quite comedic watching how he spent his time as a stockbroker. It was actually quite unbelievable. Leonardo DiCaprio was fantastic in it and I really want him to win the Oscar for his performance, because the emotions he portrayed in that film were just all over the place. He was so good in it.

Please don't let it being three hours long put you off either, because it really didn't feel like I was in that cinema for three hours. It went so quickly! And I think it had to be that long, because you needed to see what he was like before he became this big shot stockbroker and then see how he fell from grace very quickly. It was basically beginning, middle and end and it was done brilliantly.

I actually really want to read the book it was based on as I want to see if the film actually exaggerated any of his life, because I can't believe someone with that much money would still live to the extremes that he did in the movie....throwing dwarves for fun?! Really? It was just pure craziness and if he did live that life, then WOW! It's shocking to know that it happens out there.

I know the film has been criticized for "glamorising" the lifestyle that Jordan lived, but I'm sorry, I didn't see anything glamorous about that life! Having a lot of money? Yeah that would be nice, but I don't think this film is going to make people want to go out and live a life of crime just so they can act like a rich idiot like this guy did. I think there has to be something in you to want to live a life as ridiculous as that and obviously Jordan Belfort had that.

Overall I thought the film was brilliant and the performances from all the cast was outstanding. I would give it 9 out 10 stars!

It's been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too long!

Hello All!

I can't believe it was September that I last posted anything on here! I really don't know where the time has gone! It's not like I have been up to much either, so I can only say that it's just been pure laziness and forgetfulness!

I'm going to try and start posting regularly again....I know, I know, I say this a lot, but I am going to try! I've seen quite a few films since I last posted and that's mainly because me and the BFF have the Cineworld Unlimited cards, so it would be rude not to use it and go to the cinema a lot lol. Also, one of my other friends now has the card, so I tend to go with her quite a bit and managed to persuade my boyfriend to get one, so I go with him too! I should just pack up and live there right? It feels like I'm there nearly every weekend haha.

Anyway, as I was saying I've seen a lot of films, but I won't be doing any reviews for them, as there have been too many! I'll give a quick review on the ones I have remembered seeing though...here we go....

Thor 2: I really enjoyed this film, as much, if not more than the first one. There was plenty of action and comedy and a tiny bit of romance, so something for everyone to enjoy!

Hobbit 2: This was sooooooooooo much better than the first one. I have to admit, in the first one I got slightly bored, there was too much talking and setting up, but in the second one, I was very impressed. It was very good. A lot more action and there was comedy. It wasn't so serious. Benedict Cumberbatch as the dragon was actually quite scary and Martin Freeman was brilliant as always! Plus, Legolas was back and I love Orlando Bloom as Legolas hehe.

47 Ronin: I have to admit this was my boyfriends choice of film. I wasn't sure about it, firstly it's a samurai film, and I've never really been interested in those and secondly it had Keanu Reeves in it and I've not really been impressed with his film, apart from Speed LOL. But I will say that I actually enjoyed the film! Even though it got a lot of bad reviews, I really liked it. I think people criticized it a bit too harshly.

Frozen: This was the latest Disney film and I LOVED it! Soooooooooooo much love for this film! It was the first Disney film that showed that us girls have to put sisters before misters! Yes there was some romance in it, but it mainly focused on the love between sisters. And the music in it was fantastic!

Last Vegas: This was basically The Hangover for old dudes haha. It had a great cast though...Robert Di Nero, Michael Douglas, Morgan Freeman etc. It started off a bit slow, but once it got going it was very good indeed. There were some very funny moments in it.

Ok, that's all the films I can remember that I have seen haha. A lousy 5! But I have seen more than that, I just can't think of them. I did have a Double Feature Day this weekend with the BFF. We saw Wolf of Wall Street and American Hustle and both were brilliant. But I am going to post 2 reviews for those in my lunch hour.

There has been some very good TV on as well. Did anyone else watch Sherlock? It was fantastic! I LOVE Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman, they have such an amazing bromance as Sherlock and Watson. Best episode of all three series has got to be Watson's wedding to Mary and Sherlock's Best Man Speech. It was hilarious. Three episodes just wasn't enough though, I know they are an hour and half each, but we need more! And that cliff hanger!! WOW! I think we're going to have to wait another 2 years before we can find out what's going to happen with that!!

Vampire Diaries has been amazing as well. I'm very excited to say that I will be going to the TVD Convention in Birmingham in June AND Paul Wesley will be there!!! AGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! So excited to meet him. I love Stefan!! Really pleased that he got to play two roles this season, evil Silas and lovely Stefan! Can't wait for it to come back on.

Hawaii Five 0 started last night and that was a fantastic opener for Season 4! Another awesome bromance in that series....Danno and McGarrett hehe.

Anyway, I should start work now, those vehicle files won't create themselves! I think that has pretty much caught me up with you guys! I will do a couple of film reviews in my lunch hour :)

I hope you all have a good Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!! x

My Film Review: White House Down

[My review may contain spoilers]
Yesterday I went to see White House Down. I have to admit, I wanted to see this movie because I thought Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx looked like such a good duo in the 3 trailers I had seen for it. I also watched Olympus has Fallen on DVD the other today and kind of wanted to compare.

First of all, there isn't really any comparison. Yes, they are both about the White House being taken over by terrorists and the President's life is in danger, but that's about the only comparison in my opinion. I think they were both very good and different movies.

Anyway, back to the film I am actually reviewing....

I really enjoyed this film. I'm not a huge fan of Channing Tatum. I have to admit, yes he is gorgeous to look at, but I always thought his acting was just a little bit wooden, but I think he was perfect for this role. He was great at the action scenes and was brilliant at the comedic moments. His chemistry with Jamie Foxx was also fantastic. I think those two together were a duo made in heaven. I thought they both worked really well together and very believable.

The story was just a tad far fetched....ok it was a lot far fetched. I mean, really, the little girl saves the day? The President's head of security is holding a grudge because his son was killed in an operation the President gave the go ahead for...I mean if this was real life, this guy would not have been head of safety for the President, his mental sate would have been checked over and he would have been put on leave. Probably put on a desk job. But, that wouldn't have made a film lol.

I actually kind of liked that it was so unbelievable, because that's the whole point of movies right?! You watch them to escape from real life and this was a major escape. You got two very good looking guys having a bromance, while blowing s*** up and having a laugh a long the way, while trying the save themselves and the rest of the world! I thought it was brilliant!!!

For me the little girl did steal the show though. Joey King was a fantastic little actress. She played the strong, scared little girl so well. I'm kinda glad she saved the day hehe.

I think you should watch this film if you love Die Hard type movies. It's a lot of action and not much acting, but it is so worth it :)

[My review may contain spoilers]
So, I was a little unsure when I went to see this movie, because I am a HUGE fan of the Rick Riordan books, about Percy Jackson. I have read every single one to date and when I saw that they were making a film series for these books I was very excited. You see, they got it right with Harry Potter and Twilight (ok some bits were not exactly like the book, but I understand that sometimes in a movie things need to be "jazzed" up a bit to make things more interesting and to get on with a story quicker, as there is only usually 2 hours to play with). Anyway, as I was saying, the Harry Potter and Twilight films were well done and were pretty much like the books. So what could go wrong with the Percy Jackson ones right? Well, the answer is EVERYTHING!

I watched the first one (Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief) and was so disappointed. There is really no way else to explain it, other than epic fail! They "loosely" based it on the book, but that was it....the characters just didn't seem to fit with the characters I loved in the book. It;s like they decided to rewrite it! I later discovered that the author, Rick Riordan didn't have anything to do with the films, which is a major mistake when making a movie based on a book in my opinion.

So, you are probably wondering why I went to see the second film if I hate the first one so much right? Well, my friend had read that the movie makers had listened to fans criticisms of the first film and took their views on board and had decided to match the book a bit more. So, I had to see what it was like!

Right, on with the review....this film was a hell of a lot better than the first one. Now, of course this isn't difficult because the first one was crap, but this one was actually more based on the book. In fact I was impressed with how it played out some of the scenes in the book. It was like we were finally going to see the true adventures of Percy Jackson and his friends.

The actors were better this time around as well. It was as if they had actually read the books and discovered what their characters were really about. Overall I was impressed and thought finally!

But then the ending happened.....they completely ruined the film with the ending! I won't say how it ended, because that's a major spoiler...but it wasn't the same as the book. What they had done for the ending, doesn't actually happen until later on in the series, so once again I was a little disappointed...but I suppose, overall, it wasn't as bad as the first one. If they continue making this series of movies, by the last one, it might be near damn perfect!

Don't get me wrong though, if you have never read the Percy Jackson books, then I would recommend these films. Because if you don't know about the actual story, then these aren't horrid films to see.

Yet another catch up.....

I know, I know....it has been well over a month since I have been on here....so much for updating this regularly lol. I can only say that real life got in the way. Real life sucks right? LOL.

Anyway, this is only going to be a quick catch up, because I have to be honest, not a lot has really happened. I've mainly been busy with work. Yep, I know, very dull!

I have some news on the work front though. I won Employee of the Month for July. Got a certificate and a bonus of £100 which was very nice. Not gonna turn money down that's for sure! It was really nice to win actually, because it shows that hard work actually does pay off and people (i.e. Managers) have actually noticed my hard work recently. So, it was nice to feel appreciated.

Also went to Edinburgh where our Head Office is last month. They keep asking me to move to Scotland and work at the Head Office full time and even though what I have seen of Edinburgh (which isn't a lot really because work gets in the way) is very nice, I couldn't imagine packing up my whole life and moving. I would miss my family and friends here in the South of England far too much. Plus, the weather where I live is a whole lot nicer than up in Scotland lol. I freak out when it snows down here and it doesn't really snow that badly. In Scotland I would have a panic attack everyday at the thought of trying to make my way to work in the mountain of snow they get! So, no, there will be no move to Scotland for me at the moment. But it was nice to feel wanted.

What else? Um, I haven't really been to the cinema much. Seen two films, which was the second Percy Jackson film and White House Down....will do some reviews for them later on today.

I've done some more baking as well. Last week I made scones....I was planning on trying a lot of different scone recipes and started with my fave, cheese scones! They actually came out really well. Maybe a little flatter then some may like, but I really liked them.

                                                    2013-09-07 12.18.08 My Cheese Scones :)

Anyway, like I said, I was going to make different scones, but this week, I decided to make Pineapple Upside Down Cake for pudding for lunch today. Haven't eaten it yet, but it does look good, even if I do say so myself lol. I've now decided to make different puddings on the lead up to Christmas and then I can decide what pudding will be the one I make on the big day! I'm sure I will fit some scones in though as well ;)

2013-09-15 12.34.10 My Pineapple Upside Down Cake

Right, well that's me kind of caught up LOL. Like I said, not a lot to report!!

Catch Up and London Baby!!

I know, I know it's been ages since I have been on here again...what can I say? Life has gotten very busy!! I've been out quite a bit recently, so I haven't had a chance to update this. But surprisingly I haven't been to the cinema! Which is very strange for me, because I always go lol. I have a lot of films that I need to catch up on though and have probably missed my chance with a few of them.

Anyway, what have I been up to? Well, it's been a bit of a heatwave here in the UK at the moment and we really aren't used to weather like this lol. I'm English OK? I'm not made for the hot weather! I like a bit of warmth with a nice breeze...it's why I live on the coast! But most of July has been HOT HOT HOT! And I do like the sun, but I HATE the muggy heat...so yeah it's not been comfortable and sleeping hasn't been easy, but it's cooler at the moment, so maybe it will stay that way...

It was my Mum's birthday on the 16th and I had the Monday and Tuesday off to spend it with her. On the Monday we went to Bird World in Farnham, which is about an hour and 30mins drive from where I live. I was really looking forward to going because I love Penguins and they have a Penguin Island there and I was very excited about this lol. Unfortunately, the weather was very warm and the poor birds were feeling it, so they we huddled int he shade as much as possible. It was still a good day though and I got a lot of lovely pics (some of them below for you). I got an ice cream too, which is the best thing to do on a hot day...but you have to eat it quick before it melts!

.facebook_-111042902 .facebook_-1727033226.facebook_-1961404286

Yeah I will admit, most of my pictures were of the penguins lol. Well, they are my fave animal!!

On the Tuesday, my Mum's birthday, we spent the day at home. It was even hotter than the day before, so I'm glad we decided to relax a bit. We did go for a walk around the park where we live which was very nice. We fed the ducks and swans in the little lake there and just had a bit of stroll. I also took more pictures, but I won't bore you with that. I'm working on a project, which is basically me taking a load of pictures throughout the year ready to make a few calendars for family for Christmas...genius idea right? I'm all about saving the pennies lol. Anyway, as well as going for a walk we watched a few films which all featured New York in it. The films were: Breakfast at Tiffany's (which I have never seen before and LOVED it! I can't believe I always put off watching it, such a brilliant film), The Day After Tomorrow and Two Weeks Notice. We also had burgers and hot dogs for lunch! It was a good day.

I've been out for dinner a lot as well during the week. Couple of Managers from work took me and the other guys out for a Chinese which was a lot of fun. I'm the only girl at my place now, so it was fun being out with a load of guys, just a pity they weren't good looking guys, but I guess you don't get everything haha. They will probably kill me if they read this!! Also went out with a couple of old work colleagues and had a catch up over in a lovely Italian restaurant that has opened up in the local Village.

This weekend was A LOT of fun! I went to London with a few friends (2 of them already live there), so we stayed with one of them. We went there Friday night after work and had dinner at such a fun place! It was called Ed's Diner and was an American Diner...I bet you got that from the name right? LOL. We sat at the counter and put money in the jukebox and picked a couple of songs which was quite exciting as I have never done that before hehe. I really wanted to go to a diner when I was in New York but never had the chance, so this one in London was the next best thing!

Saturday was a busy day! We went into central London and the three of us met up with my other friend for Breakfast at a place called Bills in Covent Garden, where I had such a yummy breakfast! I had blueberry pancakes with maple syrup and fresh fruit. I've never had pancakes for breakfast before and I have to say it was very yummy indeed! Then we walked to Buckingham Palace so we could see the Golden Easel with the announcement of the new Baby Prince (which I was very excited about when he was born last week). However, the notice wasn't there anymore, so I missed seeing it...gutted! But it was still amazing to see Buckingham Palace. I would have liked to look outside it a bit longer, but once again the heat wave started and the sun was burning us, so we needed to find some shade as it was all open there. After Buckingham Palace we went into Regents Park and sat down for a bit on some deck chairs in the shade, which was relaxing, before making our way to the British Museum to see the Pompeii Exhibition. The Exhibition was amazing, very moving and interesting. I couldn't believe how much they were able to recover from Pompeii and restore it. I wish I had a look around the British Museum though. I will have to go back to London and see it because the Egyptian section looked really interesting and I would have loved to have seen that. After the Exhibition we walked to the Cambridge Theatre to see where it was, as we were going to be seeing the Matilda Musical later on that evening. Once we found it, we then went to grab a bite to eat, before going to the Theatre ready for the Musical. The Musical was fantastic...not the best I've seen, my fave will always be Hairspray, but it was hilarious. Unfortunately it was an old Theatre and there was no aircon and it was VERY hot and stuffy in there, which meant you were kind of hoping for it to end soon, so you get outside for some fresh air! After that, it was time to go home, so walking through London in the rain it was!

It was a very good weekend. I didn't take as many pictures as I would have liked too, but I still had a fab time. Looking forward to meeting up with the girls in Southampton in a couple of weeks now for a girls night out! Pictures of my London trip below:

The British Museum - I really wanted to go inside, but we didn't have time. I will have to go there again, because I bet it's amazing inside there!

The St Pancreas Renaissance Hotel - I thought this was such a beautiful building. I'm guessing it will be very expensive to stay there haha

Trafalgar Square in the glorious sunshine! Everyone was there to enjoy it!

                                                                                                      Buckingham Palace!

                                                                                                  The British Museum!

So, I think I have rambled on enough and caught you all up to date with what I have been up to! I promise to try and put more stuff on here regularly and not overload you with a load of rubbish haha.

Oh I have started back on a Healthy Eating and Exercise regime and today is day one! I am going to do it properly this time and keep it up! So wish me luck, I will let you know how it goes! So far so good, day one:

Breakfast:   Banana and Ceral

Lunch:         Chicken Salad and a Yorgurt

And I also did some walking before work and went for a walk (500 steps) at lunch time. Oh I am also running up and down the stairs of the office, so that should be good exercise too after sitting at my desk all the time.

Anyway I really am going now!!!
So all of the above was my weekend, although not in that order! I had a really nice weekend actually, very relaxing.

First up, Saturday....I went to Chichester to do some window shopping and have to have lunch out with two of my closest friends. It was really nice to have a girly day out and for the three of us to have a catch up. We didn't get to have a long look around the shops though because traffic was sooooooooooo busy getting there. What would usually be a 5min drive to my friends house ended up taking 20mins and then a 25mins drive to Chichester ended up taking an hour. The weather was pretty dam amazing, so I can only imagine everyone was trying to get out and get to somewhere to finally enjoy some sunshine as Summer hasn't been great so far. Anyway, lunch out was yummy. I had a finish finger club sandwich with a bucket of curly fries!! When I ordered them I had no idea it would be an actual bucket lol. There was soooooooooooo many!! My friends helped me out though ;) Now I was meant to just be doing some window shopping, but we ended up going into the Book Shop Waterstones and I just had to buy two books (they were doing buy one, get one half price....so you kinda have to!) I bought the new John Connolly Charlie Parker Series Book, Wrath of Angels which I am looking forward to reading. Usually when I buy new books, I add them to the bottom of my already growing pile of books, but for John Connolly I just had to push it to the top, so when I finished Gone Girl yesterday, I just had to read it next! Will be starting it in a bit in a my lunch hour, after I have written this.

Anyway, so that was Saturday. Sunday was all about chocolates and winning - I will explain....I bought a Chocolate Truffles making kit from the local supermarket Saturday. I've never made them before, I've made biscuits and cupcakes etc, but never this, so I thought I would give it a go. It is really fiddly work but you think, there will be chocolate truffles at the end of it, so grin and bear it!! Anyway, I did as I was meant to and when I went to eat them later after they had been chilled, I was a little disappointed. They were not as good as I hoped they would be. I think I may need to try again and see if the second lot turn out better. After the chocolate making, I made a very yummy lunch, so that made up for the rubbish chocolates and I basically spent my afternoon reading! I've been reading Gone Girl and it is such a good book. You cannot put it down, because you have to know what will happen. So I ended up reading all afternoon until the book was finished! Oops!! But at least I finally found out what happened. Little disappointed with the ending (wow full of disappointment this weekend lol).

But for the winning part of my weekend!! A lady at my Mum's work is very creative and makes sock monkeys. My Film Review: Despicable Me 2

[My Film Review...may contain Spoilers]
So, Despicable Me 2 is released in the UK Friday 28th June, however Cineworld were showing early viewings of it this weekend, so me and the BFF decided to book tickets and see it as we have been looking forward to this film all year, ever since this teaser trailer was aired.....

Now I found the first film hilarious and when I heard they were making a second, I was slightly worried that it wouldn't be as good, but I can promise you this film was just as good as the first. It had humour, heart warming family moments, good guys and bad, good vs evil....it had it all to make this a really entertaining film to be enjoyed by people of all ages.

Basic plot is, Gru has been called up by the Anti Villain League, to help capture a Villain with his new partner, Lucy. As you can imagine, things don't go to plan especially when he has to juggle the job and look after the girls and try to stop the oldest girl from falling in love with a boy. It's all a bit of harmless fun really, but it includes a lot of jokes and a lot of laughs and I really enjoyed it. Especially at the end when the Minions sang "I Swear" - I won't tell you the reason why, as I don't want to spoil it, but it was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time. I was crying with laughter. I recommend going to see it, just for that alone!!

The Minions were of course my fave. They were my fave in the first film and they will be my fave characters in this film, however I do love Agnes as well, the youngest daughter. She is too cute for words. She just melts your heart. I love her energy and how excited she gets about really silly things, it takes you back to being kid and wishing life was just that simple lol.

Anyway, I give this film 5 out of 5 stars because I really did love watching it. It was such a laugh and I can't wait for it to come out on DVD and watch 1 and 2 back to back :)
